A padded MA-1 bomber jacket from YOHJI YAMAMOTO line Y'S FOR MEN. Produced in a lightweight, khaki nylon, the jacket has all the details you would expect from an MA-1: ribbed collar, cuffs, and hem, substantial metal front zipper, angled welt pockets at the waist, and zipped sleeve pocket. Yamamoto puts a subtle spin on it by making the bomber reversible (not uncommon for flight jackets) but producing both sides in exactly the same fabric. In fact, the only difference between the two sides is that the reverse side has no sleeve pocket, affording the wearer the option of a slightly stripped back version of an MA-1. The fabric used is especially beautiful, with a faint sheen and soft handle.
