The Folk Fraction Shirt combines fine baby wale cord with cotton twill, both dyed to a deep green tone. A combination of textures are included through horizontal and vertical panels, the sleeves are split into two with the underside in cord continuing down the sides which matches the majority of the back. There is a small chest pocket which stands out thanks to the cord running in the opposite direction to the corduroy panel behind it. Both materials are soft against the skin and offer an update on a classic regular fit button up shirt. The hem has a dropped, shaped back and the arms have a single button placket and cuff. Making sure branding doesn’t draw away from the overall aesthetic, there is a dark blue embossed leather logo tab stitched into the left side seam.
Folk always have their eye on small details and finishes, the buttons used on this shirt are made from corozo nuts and have been dyed to perfectly match the deep green colour of the body. Their autumn/winter 18 releases features a range of different corduroy focused styles, including different thickness of wales across jackets, shirts and accessories.
